THE IDEA BEHIND TAPSHIFT

Good content.
Real possibilities.

A reel can be the start of a meal, a new favorite, a project, or a place you finally visit. We're building a better way to keep that possibility close.

A note first. A next step when you want one.

TapShift is a personal content assistant in the making. The idea is simple: share something you discover, keep a useful note with a link to its source, and find it again in your own words.

That could be headphones, a recipe, a food spot, an outfit, a travel idea, or a useful how-to. When relevant shopping or booking options are available, those can become a next step. A saved idea should still be useful when you never buy anything.

An assistant that can help you act.

The longer-term vision goes beyond remembering. Share a hotel reel, a restaurant video, or a product, and the assistant could ask about dates, delivery, preferences, and budget. You would review the option, merchant, total price, and terms before approving a booking or order.

We plan to support secure payment or vault links for sensitive details. You could complete payment yourself or authorize the assistant to complete a supported transaction. These are future capabilities, dependent on integrations, merchant support, location, and your authorization. See the illustrative assistant conversation.

What is available today?

This website, our practical guides, and the user and creator waitlists are live. The assistant, messaging integrations, product search, booking, ordering, secure vaults, payments, and creator payouts are not live yet. The product conversations shown on the homepage are previews.

Instagram, WhatsApp, and iMessage are on the roadmap, subject to platform availability. We are also exploring a share-link workflow for content discovered on TikTok and other feeds. A native TikTok DM bot is not required for that idea, and no platform partnership is implied.

Creators belong in the picture.

Recommendations begin with people. We are exploring affiliate attribution and commission sharing for creators when supported purchases or bookings can be connected to their content. The merchant would pay a commission on a qualifying transaction, shared between the eligible creator and TapShift. Available merchants, rates, eligibility, commission shares, and payout terms will be confirmed before launch.

This is a plan, not an earnings promise. Not every saved object, place, or idea will have an affiliate link.

About the guides we publish.

The TapShift blog offers practical ways to organize saved content and make better use of recommendations. Guides are published under TapShift, with publication dates, source links for external claims, and clear distinctions between examples and live product features.

We do not present illustrative examples as product tests, customer stories, or firsthand reviews. If a detail is wrong or a source changes, tell us. Material revisions will update the guide's date.

Say hello.

TapShift is an independently operated, prelaunch project based in India. It is not currently an incorporated company. We are building with people and creators across different content categories in mind; availability will be announced as features launch.
